My story

Hi there!

My name is Saluna Chow, the founder and Wedding Stationery Designer at Saluna Creative Events.

My passion for Saluna Creative began when I was planning my own wedding and wanted a truly unique, personalized wedding invitation.

Our wedding, like all weddings are, was unique in its own way.

We needed to add important details such as cultural symbols like the Asian "Double Happiness" sign to represent our background and include our traditional Tea Ceremony in the RSVP card.

And at the same time...

We also needed to incorporate another wedding color palette, which was a soft pastel, lavender combination to match our chateau wedding venue style.

Our custom-designed dream wedding invitation was limited in options and affordability, so we went with e-vites.

The electronic invitations we used were good enough to customize our RSVP card, but we weren't able to have a wedding invitation that truly reflected our personalities. In hindsight, we regret not having something tangible to hold onto and reminisce about our special day.

This is why Saluna Creative Events began

To help wedding couples put their unique love story on paper to highlight their individuality while celebrating the beginning of their new journey together.

Howdy! I'm based in Houston, Texas.

What makes my brain tingle:

Beautiful & luxe papers, creating unique stationery designs and doodling calligraphy.

What I enjoy:

Morning coffee, a cozy afternoon of movie marathons with my movie nerd husband, Christmas decorating and trying new recipes.

Fun fact about me:

I can speak three languages: English, Spanish, and Chinese. My parents emigrated from Hong Kong to the Dominican Republic when I was young, and I learned to cherish diversity and different cultures.
