Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Saluna Creative! Before diving into our design, printing and production process together, we’d like to establish clear terms and conditions. This way, we can make sure our collaboration is transparent, enjoyable, and works well for everyone involved.
By engaging our services, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read through them carefully, as we reserve the right to update these terms at any point. The most recent version will always be available on our website. We encourage you to check our website regularly for any updates.
These terms outline the responsibilities of both parties, the scope of our services, and important considerations related to timelines, payments, proofs, and more.
Licensing and Use:

The client is granted a non-exclusive license to use the Saluna Creative products and designs for personal use only.

The client may not reproduce, distribute, or sell the designs for commercial purposes without the express written consent of Saluna Creative.

Saluna Creative retains the copyright to all original designs, which includes both Semi-Custom and Custom Design stationery products.

The client may not claim ownership or authorship of the designs.

Saluna Creative retains ownership of all materials, sketches, and non-finalized designs created during the project.
Timeline:

The client agrees to provide all necessary information and materials in a timely manner to facilitate the design, printing and production process.

Saluna Creative will provide a timeline with an estimated completion date, and any delays caused by the client may impact the final delivery date.

The client is responsible for reviewing and approving proofs and responding to questions related to their order within three business days. If the client takes more than 3 business days to respond, it will be considered a delay and may affect the final delivery date.

Regular and timely communication is required for Saluna Creative to process the order efficiently and meet the estimated completion date.

In the event that the client anticipates needing more time to provide feedback, they may inform us in advance. We will make efforts to provide feedback on whether it will impact the overall timeline.
Quotes:

All quotes provided by Saluna Creative are valid for a period of 30 days from the date of issuance.

Requests to honor a quote beyond the 30-day period will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and Saluna Creative reserves the right to adjust pricing based on current market conditions and circumstances.
Payment Schedule:
Semi-Custom Orders:

100% of the online order total is required before the semi-custom customization design process begins.

Any additional costs such as embellishments, upgrades and/or additional services added during the design process is due upon approval of the final proof but before the start of the printing process.
Custom Design Orders:
-
A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required before the design process begins.

The remaining balance of 80% is due upon approval of the final proof but before the start of the printing process.
Proofs and Revisions:
-
The client will be provided with digital proofs for review and approval.

While unlimited revisions are included in the design process to ensure the client’s satisfaction, the client may incur additional fees in rare cases where an excessive or unreasonable amount of proof revisions is requested beyond industry standards. Rest assured that Saluna Creative is committed to transparency, and any extra fees will be communicated to the client in advance. Our goal is to always create a design that you love without any surprises.

The client is solely responsible for carefully reviewing and approving all proofs, including text, spelling, and content, before printing begins.

Saluna Creative is not responsible for any spelling errors or omissions in the final product that were not identified and corrected by the client during the proofing process. By approving the final proof(s), the client accepts full responsibility for all information, spelling, and layout as shown in the final proof(s).

The client should notify Saluna Creative promptly of any concerns or issues with the designs prior to the start of the printing process.

Additional reprinting charges may apply if the client notifies the designer of concerns or issues after the printing process has begun.
Custom Design Orders:

Three (3) design overhauls are included. Any additional design sketches beyond this limit is subject to a design change fee.
Semi-Custom Orders:
-
Clients are allowed to make minor modifications, such as changes to fonts, layout, and small design motifs.

Due to the nature of being semi-custom, clients are restricted from making changes to the overall theme or concept of the semi-custom design. Any significant deviations from the original theme or concept may require a transition to Custom Design order and may incur additional fees.
Limited Liability:

Saluna Creative's liability is limited to the cost of the services provided. Saluna Creative is not liable for any consequential or indirect damages.

Saluna Creative's responsibility concludes upon the shipment or mailing of the order.

Saluna Creative is not responsible for any damages or issues that may occur during shipping or mailing. Products will be reasonably protected for shipping or mailing. Saluna Creative will make reasonable efforts to assist and facilitate the resolution of any issues that may arise during the shipping or mailing process.
Scope of Work:

The scope of work is limited to the design, printing and production of stationery products as outlined in the agreement.

Additional services or modifications beyond the agreed-upon scope may be subject to additional charges.
Customer Satisfaction and Expectations:

The client acknowledges that there may be slight color variations between digital representations (such as on-screen proofs) and the final printed products.

Saluna Creative will make reasonable efforts to ensure color accuracy in the final printed product. However, minor color discrepancies may occur due to variations in monitors, printers, and printing processes.

Saluna Creative is not responsible for minor color variations within reasonable industry standards.
-
If precise color matching is crucial, the client should communicate this in writing, requesting a printed proof at additional cost.
Delivery and Shipping:

The client is responsible for providing accurate shipping and mailing address information. Any additional shipping costs due to incorrect information will be the responsibility of the client.

Saluna Creative is not responsible for delays or damage that may occur during shipping or mailing. Products will be reasonably protected for shipping or mailing. Saluna Creative will make reasonable efforts to assist and facilitate the resolution of any issues that may arise during the shipping or mailing process.
Faulty or Missing Items:

If the client is missing items or receives items with defects or faults, please contact Saluna Creative within 5 days of receiving the order.

Saluna Creative will review the reported issues and if applicable, request images, request the return of the faulty items or request additional details to understand the problem.
-
Saluna Creative will work with the client to determine appropriate solutions. This may include sending replacements for faulty items or shipping any missing items as quickly as possible.

If the stationery products contain wrong information provided and/or approved by the client during the proofing process, reprinting will result in additional cost to the client. Saluna Creative will provide a cost estimate for the reprint, including any applicable shipping charges.
Marketing and Promotion:

The client grants Saluna Creative the right to showcase and promote the completed designs and products on the Saluna Creative website, social media platforms, and other marketing materials.

Saluna Creative may include watermarks or other identifying marks on the designs for promotional purposes.
-
Additionally, the client grants Saluna Creative the right to post and share client testimonials and reviews for marketing purposes on any of Saluna Creative’s platforms.

If the client has specific concerns about privacy or wishes to opt-out of this clause, they must communicate this in writing to Saluna Creative before the start of the project.
Comments and Other Submissions:

If the client submits comments, creative suggestions, or other materials to us, the client agrees that we may use, edit, and distribute them without restrictions. Saluna Creative are not obligated to keep them confidential, compensate, or respond.

We may monitor and remove content that violates these Terms or is deemed objectionable.

The client agrees not to violate the rights of any third-party, including copyright, trademark, or other proprietary right. The client will not include unlawful or harmful content in their submissions.

The client is solely responsible for their comments, and Saluna Creative assumes no liability for comments posted by the client or third parties.
Cancellation and Refund Policy:

Either party may terminate the agreement if the other party breaches its obligations. In the event of termination, the client is responsible for payment for work completed up to that point.

For Semi-Custom Orders: Clients may request a cancellation for a full refund within 48 hours of placing the order. If a cancellation is requested after this period, Saluna Creative will consider costs already incurred and work with the client toward a reasonable resolution. Saluna Creative cannot guarantee that the order can be canceled for a full or partial refund.

For Custom Design Orders: Clients may request a cancellation, but the non-refundable deposit will still apply. Saluna Creative will consider costs already incurred and work with the client toward a reasonable resolution. Saluna Creative cannot guarantee that the order can be canceled for a full or partial refund.
Personal Information and Privacy:

The way our client’s personal information is handled on this website is regulated by our Privacy Policy, accessible here.
Errors and Inaccuracies:

Information on our site or in our services may occasionally have typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions.

We reserve the right to correct such errors, inaccuracies, or omissions, and may change or update information without prior notice.

We have no obligation to update or clarify information unless required by law.

Orders may be canceled if information on our site is found to be inaccurate after order submission.
Force Majeure:

Saluna Creative is not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to events beyond their control, such as acts of nature, war, terrorism, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Confidentiality:

Both parties agree to keep confidential all information exchanged during the course of the project, including but not limited to design concepts, drafts, and personal information.
Governing Law:

This agreement is governed by the laws of the United States of America.
Dispute Resolution:

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter in good faith before pursuing legal action.
Entire Agreement:
-
This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.
By proceeding with the services, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
